Jongse Park is an associate professor at School of Computing in KAIST, Korea, co-leading the Computer Architecture and Systems Laboratory (CASys). Before joining KAIST, Prof. Park had worked as an acceleration solution architect at a startup company in Silicon Valley, Bigstream Solutions Inc., leading the commercialization of his PhD research on building FPGA-accelerated deep learning computing solution, which constitutes not only the hardware accelerator design and development, but also the software stack including language, compiler, and runtime. In 2018, he obtained his PhD in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology (GaTech). Before then, Prof. Park obtained his MS in Computer Science from KAIST in 2012. His current primary research interest is to design and build hardware-software co-designed computing systems for edge-to-cloud platforms, which enable new capabilities in emerging application domains.
