You can take advantage of the following tax benefits when you donate to KAIST.
Under the income tax law, your donation is considered a legal donation, and can be fully deducted from taxable income within your income range.
Corporations for profit
Because KAIST is recognized as the beneficiary of a special donation, a donation within 50 percent of your profit will be acknowledged as a pecuniary loss and necessary expense.
The donation is acknowledged as a reserve fund for essential business.
When a property holder donates his/her property through devise or donation due to death or when a successor donates his/her inheritance, the inheritance tax on the donation is exempted.
(In the case of real estate property, the donated property must not have been transferred to the successor.)
