Brent ByungHoon Kang received the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from University of California at Berkeley, CA, USA. He is an associate professor at KAIST. His academic services include Tutorial co-chair for ACM CCS 2011, 2012, Program Committee for USENIX SECURITY 2015, ICDCS 2015 (Security and Privacy Track), ACM CCS 2015, 2016, 2017, and IEEE S&P 2016, 2017, 2018. His current interests include designing Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) and securing host system based on the TEE (e.g., OS kernel integrity monitors, HW-based trusted execution environment, VM Introspection, Memory address translation integrity, Code-Reuse-Attack defenses, invisible server, anti-spam, and botnet malware analysis).
