After positions at Utrecht University, Postech, HKUST, and TU Eindhoven, Otfried Cheong has been at KAIST since 2005 and served as a full professor since 2009. His group does research in Discrete and Computational Geometry. Otfried Cheong is one of the authors of the book "Computational Geometry: Algorithms and Applications", the standard textbook of the field. He is also an editor of Discrete & Computational Geometry and Computational Geometry: Theory and Applications.
